Girls Trip to Ojai

Nestled in the serene embrace of the Ojai Valley, our journey to this quaint Californian town was a retreat like no other—a peaceful escape from the hustle of everyday life. Accompanied by my mom and sister, we embarked on a memorable adventure filled with relaxation and cherished moments.

Our stay at the picturesque Ojai Valley Inn was nothing short of enchanting. Surrounded by lush gardens and majestic mountains, the inn exuded a timeless elegance that left us in awe. From the moment we stepped foot onto its grounds, we knew we were in for a treat.

As we settled into our beautifully appointed accommodations, complete with the best robe I have ever worn, I felt a sense of tranquility wash over me. I was thrilled to have some girl time and catch up with my mom and sister as this was our first girls trip.

Eager to explore the charms of Ojai, we ventured into the heart of town, where quaint streets lined with boutique shops beckoned us to wander. Our journey began at The Nest, a cozy eatery offering farm-to-table delights. I tried to buy my sister a seltzer but I somehow ordered sparkling water. Nonetheless, the food was fantastic.

Another place we ate at was The Dutchess, a charming café where we indulged in artisanal pastries and amazing food. This recommendation came from my sister’s situationship (??) so we were hesitant to try but we are very glad we did. Other places we ate at included Sakura Ojai and Sea Fresh Ojai, where we enjoyed sushi and seafood dishes.

But our adventures didn't end there. A blissful spa day awaited us at the Day Spa of Ojai, where we indulged in pampering treatments courtesy of my always incredible mom!

We also enjoyed wine tasting at the Ojai Vineyard Tasting Room, where I had the majority of the wine as my mom does not drink and my sister abhors wine. Nonetheless, this experience left me and my sister tipsy enough to share and truly bond with one another.

We stumbled across a used bookstore where I bought four books for 50 cents each. I spent a good chunk of the trip curled up in my robe reading these books.

This weekend was truly perfect and I had the greatest time spent with some of the people I love most in this world.

Until we meet again, Ojai, thank you for the memories.
